“NOTHING ABOUT US WITHOUT OUR TEAM” As I reflect on the challenges and success of joining other stakeholders in continuing to build a healthy community with the little available resources from Funders, this would have been difficult without the tremendous work and success of the Tinu Ark of Mercy team the building of our community - focusing on the wellbeing of our women, children, and the entire family to foster a healthy family relationship.

 

This successful milestone is because of the passion, dedication, and support from our sponsors, mentors, donors, facilitators, guest facilitators, participants, and our core group members. These persons worked tirelessly to enable us to achieve our program's deliverables. From 2021 - 2023, we saw the impact of the pandemic’s great upheavals and I am delighted to share that these upheavals made us bolder, stronger, and more innovative in the way we managed our projects. This is what we would share through this annual report.

The years preceding 2023, the world was unprecedented and challenging, exerting more burden on our caregivers especially women and their children. This helped us build a solid foundation by establishing an African based organization that addresses the needs of the Black African community. Tinu Ark of Mercy’s success is possible through the extraordinary generosity of donors, devoted sponsors, The Redwood - our organizational mentor, the Salvation Army who sponsored my non-profit management certificate, supportive partners, board members, staff members, core group members, consultants, wonderful participants, and

community spirit.
